Just dropping in! I think about you guys everyday. I haven't done any art. I found a new apartment, moving in May 16. I thought at first I might want some kind of senior retirement place but it just took looking at one to know I didn't want that - ever! It's a whole different mindset, like admitting you were giving up too much. I decided I really needed a garage even tho I don't have a car. I had one before attached to my studio space and I went back and forth a lot - so I found exactly what I wanted. 2 bedroom / 2 bath with attached garage - 2nd bedroom will be my studio. the french doors and both bedroom big windows all face the back which is adjacent to a forest conservation preserve so I expect to see deer, fox, raccoons, maybe coyote, all kinds of birds - who knows maybe even Bigfoot! For the first time in a decade I feel like I am moving forward - for too long my feet felt stuck in concrete. I mean to get back to Artsy Fartsy one of these days. I saw where Denise requested my second blog address - it's for straight wives of gay husbands. There seems to be almost an epidemic of us coming out of our own closets now, even though we never understood that was where we existed. Its easier now for gay men to live their authentic lives but their wives are left to pick up the pieces and try to understand how they spent their lives in love with a man who never really existed - like grieving a ghost. Here is my straight wives blog for Denise and anyone else who is interested in my story. I've been busy packing but I'll try to check back in soon!

@ Karen welcome to our group. You found yourself a great bunch of people/artists here. I've noticed that you missed a few people's postings of April 22nd. You can find them if you click on BS in the 14th discussion. Also, our group "Sheriff" Barbara has posted the rules for our information. For newcomers we go back 48 hours. We also promote on Social Media and leave usually a note in the comment where we promoted the pictures. If you could fix the few you missed and leave the information in the comment where you promoted the picture of each individual artists that would be great. This is a high ranking group and the effort promoting each other here really pays off. You can see the comment and SM information in the comment I left on your picture to give you an idea.

I am just dropping in to say hello. No post today and I will come back tomorrow and promote and vote. Reason for that I took tons of pictures today in the zoo I have to go through. We went there with the entire family (brother, sister-in-law, mother, aunt, nephew, nice, great nephews....) yup and they didn't keep us in the zoo, surprisingly. I hope I got some usable pictures. Just to warn you... I didn't go on a Safari for a day, as I said it was just the zoo.

Hi everyone, Just checking in today sorry for being out of touch I was in the hospital.
