Upload Ppi

So, i have been uploading my images (for sale as prints) at 72 ppi which is best for web viewing. I am going under the assumption that FAA resizes to the appropriate ppi for their printers (240, 300 etc...). There is nothing mentioned about it in the upload hints section this is why i assumed they changed it themselves. Does anyone know if this is correct? Do they resize for best printing?

Thank you!

PPI is for screen resolution. DPI is for printer resolution. In either case, for FAA, leave them alone on your end, and just upload your file as is. FAA adjusts the DPI based on the amount of pixels you upload here & size ordered

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, i think i got it right though

Setting resolution at upload is irrelevant, both in terms of appearance on the web and printing.

What matters is pixels. Pixels determine how large a print can be made and a 3600-pixel image will appear the same on the web whether set at 72 DPI, 300 DPI or 600 DPI.

They print at 100

100 (or thereabouts) is the lowest they will print. They actually print at whatever resolution is necessary to give the size of print ordered - if it's a small print from a large image, they might print at 300 or higher.
