Promote Your Photography

Feel free to post your websites or gallery links in the community.

Although seascape photography is technically landscape photography, if you are starting a group on google with the intent of promoting the art, you should consider adding a seascape category because the keyword "seascape" is used extensively in google by those searching for that specific category of fine art photography.

Gord, I am clueless about how to share photography on your community pages.

@Kathleen and Debbie. It is similiar to facebook. if you want to share a link from FAA just copy the link and go to the top of my community page. click the blank box and you will see a symbol for a link. click that and paste your link. that should do it. from there you can also upload photos from your computer. the other way to share on the page is go to your gallery and choose the photo you want and you should have a google+ button. click that and choose my community page down below and click share. let me know if this helped or if there are any other issues.

Thanks, Gord, but I don't see a blank box at the top of your community page, just search boxes. Wouldn't I have to become a member of your community?

@Kathleen yeah you would to join. there should be a join button in the top right or left. if you still have trouble let me know your user name on g+ and i will send you an invitation.

Gord, I finally got in. I was signed into Google+ but the stupid site didn't think so, so I had to set up a new account because it wouldn't accept my password even after I changed it. Thanks for helping me!

I am looking for ways to promote my work. I have read all I can on keywords. I have had only a few views. When in the search box, my photos don't come up even though I have the same words.
But there most be more then keywords, something that will make it pop up other places. Discount on a particular print, reach customers, etc..
I would love to hear more suggestions on promoting my work.
