WELCOME TO THE ON THE ROAD TO SELF PROMOTION GROUP
YOU MUST BE AN OFFICIAL MEMBER OF THIS GROUP TO POST HERE.
IF YOU ARE NEW, VOTE/LIKE FIRST AND ONLY THEN, POST AN IMAGE OF YOUR OWN. Anyone violating this requirement will unfortunately have their post deleted.
We only have ONE real rule here, other than the above, and that is that everyone is expected to vote for everyone who posts a blue link on the discussion board, and only one link per day posted from each member. That's it!!!
GENERAL INFORMATION AND HOW WE DO THINGS HERE:
If you are new here, or returning after a long absence, please go back at least 24 hours with your votes. This includes opening the big skip and voting for the images posted there as well. Once you've done this, keeping up is easy. If you are new, we REQUIRE that you go back those 24 hours BEFORE you post a link of your own. This also means that YOU MUST OPEN THE BIG SKIP in order to have all posts available for you to vote for.
To avoid confusion and to keep track of where you are, it is highly suggested that you VOTE FIRST, and then and only then post your own submission for the day. This also gives you a marker for where you left off. ***UPDATE 3/27/2014*** IF YOU ARE NEW, OR AN INFREQUENT POSTER ON THE MAIN DISCUSSION THREAD, YOU ARE NOW REQUIRED TO DO YOUR VOTING/LIKES PRIOR TO POSTING YOUR OWN LINK.
Please use the URL for your image postings, rather than the copy and paste code. Posting the photo itself, rather than a link will make it difficult for people who don't have high speed internet, as well as to cause people to skip over your post without voting.
If you are posting nudes, or other questionable images, please post a warning notice with your link. There are children here, as well as adults who choose not so look at that type of image. This is the only exception to the vote for all rule.
Please do not post links from your pixels.com account or any other FAA mirror site. It tends to create problems for some people and most will skip those links.
TO POST A PHOTO TO THE MAIN BOARD: PLEASE LIMIT YOUR SUBMISSIONS TO ONE PER DAY. Our main page features are nominated and selected by our discussion group members, so please check out our nominations thread if you see something you think should be featured. ABSOLUTELY NO images of nudity, death, cruelty or violence of any kind on the main board, where you have no ability to post a warning.
Finally, JUST HAVE FUN!! This is an incredible group of people who will make you feel welcome from your first post!!
