Pinterest And Watermarks

Someone may have already talked about this but I can't go through all the discussion boards so I am going to bring it up again.

I clicked on a wonderful photo that someone else had put on FAA. I liked it a lot and I put it in one of my Pinterest Boards. I noticed that some people like it and I also noticed that a few of my own photos have been repined on Pinterest. When I went to the Pinterest board of the photo I had pinned from someone else, out of curiosity I did a right mouse click on it and said 'save as.' First of all there was no FAA watermark on the photo and second I was able to save it to my desk top. This is scary.

I want to know why the FAA watermark was not on this particular photo because I want to make sure it is on all of my photos. I thought when you clicked on the Pinterest photo that it would always take me back to FAA. And, for that matter it did. However, I did not think that I could right mouse click and save the image.

Please, thoughts on this! I think it is important!

Nothing to be scared of . If you have the watermark feature on then your images will have the watermark when pinned. Some people like me leave it off. There are compelling reasons on both sides and plenty of threads about it. There are always risks involved in getting out in the world.

Oh I see you don't have the watermark on. You need to do a bulk edit and turn that on if you want it. Then set that as a default to get the new ones with the mark. Or you can do them one at a time by editing.

It says it can discourage people from buying the product but it specifically says that the watermarks are not included in the purchase. And, since I didn't have it on, that doesn't seem to have affected me since I have had no sales. Oh well.

Thank you. I am going to go back and make sure everything has the watermarks on it.

I don't know how to edit all of them. I tried. I had to do one by one and I was only able to do a few because I haven't time right now. Is there a way to edit all photos at the same time? I did a bulk edit but it is for future photos and not ones that are already on my site.

You are right. There seems to be no way to change the watermark setting in bulk.
