Why Is There E-bay Ads On My Photos On Here?

I was uploading, liking, stumbling my photos and this terrible ad shows at the bottom with prices and if you click it has an x to remove but it stays on my page. I don''t want someone getting free advertisement on my work and I sure as heck am not happy that it covers information on my photo.

Teresa, I am afraid you have malwares in your computer, do a virus scan to clear it..

sounds like you have picked up some malware.

Download the 14 trial of this software - Malware Bytes.

https://www.malwarebytes.org/trial/

Scan you computer and follow instruction for removal. Once the 14 day trial is over, I highly recommend purchasing the license. $29.00 and it actively blocks sites with malware.

Alfred and Mike, there is no chance either of you are going to beat me out of that "Most Helpful Member" award, so might as well just give up now! :)

You are far too serious Mike, for someone dressed in a furry bunny suit!

Another thing to check is your list of programs. In the add/delete file look for the name conduit. Best way to look for it is sort by date. That will show you what you have downloaded in the last few days. Most likely you got it from that. Suggest you delete it.

And don't browse the net logged in as "Administrator" on your PC. Always use a "limited" account.
Remove JAVA as well. (keep Javascript updated and Adobe Flash Reader too)
For those still using XP after April 8th, you may want to switch to Chrome or Firefox as well. It's going to get tricky staying safe
while still on XP. Older unsupported browsers will be even more risky.
