Oleg Cassini Self Portrait Sketch

I haven't heard of his name motion for so long, not sure if anyone know him any more. He was famous for dressing Jackie O. i think you should contact the auction house near you.

I agree with Alfred. Cassini's time has passed. He's part of old Hollywood, but if there aren't any other sketches out there with his signature, then it could be worth something. The sketch is personalized "to Betty" which may reduce the value, unless Betty is someone famous (Betty Grable? Betty Ford?). Definitely check with an auction house! Good luck!

Betty is my deceased wife who was one of Oleg's dress models back in the 70's before we married. From what she had told me he was a little infatuated with her and gave her the sketch as a way to remember him.
Any particular Auction House?

Andreas, another idea is to contact the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York because it has a well know costume department, often organize exhibitions of well know fashion designers perhaps they might interest to purchase it or as donation, you might able to get some kind of tax receipt for it.
