So Frustrated Again!! I Have To Delete Permanently.

How the hell can we make a sale when all of a sudden there are pixel probs!
I sold an image today but now I haven't because the photo isn't good enough to make a print from so the buyer will have to accept a refund because the picture has gotten damaged I noticed this afternoon when prompted to re photograph.
I explained that I could only slightly adjust image as the original one is damaged.
Message from FAA just now.

I'm sorry to hear you won't be able to rephotograph. We can't print this image larger than 12x7 with the image provided, so we'll need you to remove pricing from this item for anything larger than that.

Also, I noticed that you have blown up the image in editing software, increased the image size or dpi. That only increases pixelation and makes the image unprintable. Please always leave images at their original size from your camera, never increase their size in software. Resizing images larger in software only makes them super pixelated and unprintable.

Sorry for the disappointment but we will have to cancel this order and refund the buyers card.
Thanks
Dawn

It is really horrible this has happened but, to be honest, It is, and always has been, the artists responsibility to make sure the image is printable

If you sell an image we will refuse to print if the image shows.......

Pixellation
Blockiness
Bad cropping
Blurriness nor in keeping with the image (ie not meant to be there)
normal font signature
signature cropped half off the image
large watermarks
noticeable camera flash

We do not do quality control until you sell so, it is your responsibility to quality control your images carefully before uploading. You do this by zooming in a photo editor to 100% and then carefully going over the image, checking for the above defects

EDIT I did not close this thread
