When Someone Orders A Photo, Does The Watermark Print Too?

I'm considering adding the watermark, but want to make sure that the watermark is for the internet only and doesn't print on the photo when ordered. Do you know if it prints with the photo?

Now ask yourself, if you questioned it how many buyers will have the same question?

There are many threads here to the pros & cons of using a Watermark .
If you choose to use one, try putting in your description that " the fineart America Logo will not appear on the print... "

As you have asked yourself, it could be a quite common belief that it will appear on the print.

Welcome aboard, & best wishes !

the timing of this question is interesting since there is an argument about it right now. but it doesn't print on there. but as said, if your wondering - your customers may think the same thing and not buy from you.

Unfortunately Jennifer, many people do not realise the watermark does not come with the image so it may hurt your sales

Best to add a small signature to your work instead

Welcome to FAA Jennifer. Love this one.

Now ask yourself, if you questioned it how many buyers will have the same question?

Now ask yourself how many people, including customers, would ask this same question if FAA made it more obvious on the website that the watermark does not print?

The first link below is at the actual "Display Page" in the gallery. There is NO mention anywhere of the watermark not appearing in the print. Nothing.

The second link below is from the order page. To get to this point, the buyer would of had to have clicked on the "art print" icon to ORDER. You can also see where FAA makes the statement with regards to the watermark not printing on the final image, in extremely small and very faint font. Why? If so many people are confused about this and it is costing sales. why is FAA not making it more clear?

The only way Jennifer would have known the answer regarding the watermark, is if she had clicked through to order one of her own prints.

I hope this has helped. As we already have a watermark conversation going on I will now close this before it is brought here also
