Can We Opt Out Of The Faa Printing Service

I have been selling for a long time and have other sites and places I sell my images. I like all my images to be priced the same everywhere. I also would never print below 180 ppi because of quality. Its to hard to figure out the difference here for printing and commissions for printing here to keep my prices all the same. For this reason I cant link to FAA because the pricing wont match from other places I sell. I also print myself and use other professional labs I know and trust from over the years working with them. I also like to have quality control over any print that goes to a customer.
Is their a way to opt out of the FAA printing service? I don't want to mark my item not for sale though, just use a different lab or myself to print and have set prices.

The more customization the better and the more likely artist will use FAA to fulfill their orders. This is a great way for FAA to stand out from the competition as an artist resource.

I don't understand when you say you want to opt out of FAA's printing yet you say I don't want to mark my items Not For Sale.

The only option I see you have, following that particular train of thought, would be to sell originals here and then use another printing service to either drop-ship to the customer, or have them sent to you, then send the item to the customer. Other than that, the only other option if not using FAA for printing/shipping is to not be at FAA. There might be other options, but am not aware of them.

yeah you close your account or remove the prices. its not like there is another printer this place uses.

you realize that FAA is a POD site right? Otherwise build your own website and sell direct from it. This isn't Etsy.

I understand that, I use my own labs. I guess it cant hurt to keep the account for marketing purposes.

Aren't you just selling greeting cards here? Probably a lot of other sites that produce greeting cards and ship to customers.

Thanks for the replies and thoughts everyone. I think greeting cards is the way to go here, and do the larger pieces myself.

Yes Greg, I do like this site and the exposure cant hurt me being here, just needed to keep it in harmony with my other pieces for sale. Its just to hard to match the pricing to my other sites, so could not link to here from them. I can do that now because I am just selling greeting cards here now, as of 5 mins ago.
