Watermarks

I have heard that there are a lot of different ways to put Watermarks on my photography but haven't found one that is free and seems to work. It could just be me, or maybe I've gone to the wrong places. Again, thanks for your time and support, it's truly appreciated! Have a wonderful day!

The easiest way would be to use the watermark FAA provides. The company can easily remove this should a print order be made. If you put a watermark on your work yourself, then you will first need to remove it and resend it to FAA in order for the company to be able to print it.

There is another discussion on watermarks and their usefulness a couple of threads down which may also be of use.

Hi Jennifer,

If you happen to use Lightroom, this article I wrote for the New England Photography Guild a little while ago should be of some help. Most people do seem to like my watermark ;-) It's the one I use everywhere but FAA, and that's only because FAA won't give us the ability to add our own branding.

Wow, thanks Jeff. I appreciate your help and link very much. I've never used Lightroom or any PhotoShop software for that matter. The only editing tool I use is a free basic app on my cell phone or I just leave my photos unedited. I'm also on an extremely tight budget and other than my cell phone, I have access to a tablet. Thanks again for your time. Have a wonderful day! :)
