Colors In Keywords

I always try to put the colors in images as keywords in case someone is looking for a particular color image but does anyone know if we have to put the words "color" or "colors" as well in case someone searches for a red and yellow color picture for example or are these words not necessary.

i never add the word color, but i do add the names of colors as i see fit. whatever the dominant ones are and often the plural. i don't go too crazy because it will be confusing. like i can't call it apricot or lilac, because it would be spamming.

Thanks Mike, I keep changing my keywords to try and second guess what people search for but it's difficult to know because even when I've sold a picture I have no idea what the customer searched for, I find it very frustrating.

I imagine the Category " Orange" is saturated. Lol - No pun intended.

i add words for things i might search for. but you can't rely on search terms. you have to advertise yourself here and tell people where you are. based on the low view count, i think your just waiting to be found. you have to go out and tell people your here.

as for what they might have searched for, you can only judge by the theme of what it was. like if it was just guitars, then that might have been the word. it would be nice to see what people are searching for. i have stat counter on my main page but it only shows me more or less, how they got to my main page. but it gives me some info.
