I live in San Francisco, one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. I love hearing all the different languages spoken, especially in our tourist months. In California, wherever you live, you are generally 3+ hours or less from the ocean, the mountains (with and without snow way into June/July in some places), the desert, the vineyards, Hollywood/L.A., the quaint old 'gold rush' towns with wooden sidewalks. Every part of California has its own specialness. I moved here from Boston (another beautiful and unique city) to continue my photography...but because I'm now disabled because of my back, I'm not able to do that....right now I create digital art mostly. But California is a photographer's paradise, and I hope to get back to my photography again some day.
