How Do I Attach An Image To A Discussion Reply?

Hey All,

How Do I Attach An Image To A Discussion Reply? I can see how I would do it if I begin a new post.
However, I do not see the option to attach an image, when I reply to someone's post.

Thank You!

Tom

There is a link on the image page, just below the color swatches. Highlight it and press Ctrl-C, then go to the post and press Ctrl-V. It will put the image thumbnail into the post.

I think Tom is referring to a non-FAA image that isn't uploaded in his images here.

I have been curious about that also.

Well, to do that, the image has to be hosted on another site, such as Dropbox.

you'll need to add the code

(a href=" ") (src=" ") (title=" " /) (/a)

i think i have that right - replace the ( with a greater and less than sign. the src is the source - so like i post them from facebook. and the href is the link to that source should you want to click on it.

i would add the actual code, but i'm not sure how to put it up without it going into code.

Because it needs an imbedded code ???

Hi Loree,

I appreciate you taking the time. However, I'm at a loss as to what it is you are trying to communicate.
What do you mean by the "image page"?
Jeff, thanks, but I AM referring to images that I have already uploaded to FAA.
A prime example of what I am talking about, is that, when I replied to your replies, I did not
see an option to attach a photo to this post.

Thanks :O)

Don't know if this is the easiest way but you could make a private gallery that has a password and then paste the picture here in the discussion box. You would have to make a new discussion box OR edit the old one and put it to the ATT of.
Hope that helps

@Tom, the page where your image is for sale. If you click on one of your image thumbnails in your profile, it takes you to a page with only that image. The link you want is on that page. :-)

For internal FAA images use the code Loree mentioned

First you need a pair of scissors, a bottle of Elmer's glue or scotch tape, then cut the picture out of your screen, and glue/tape to your discussion post. :P

Seriously, on your picture's page, you will find the link, highlight it and use "control+c" to copy it, then use "control+v" to past it.
