This Needs To Be Seen :)

Hi all, I normally do not promote work here, but this time I think this needs to be seen :)

I have started training for my 127 kilometre hike following the Wicklow Way and I took photos during my first hike. I joined my friend Epée on a 7 kilometer hike from Lough Tay to Djouce Mountain and back. The trail is part of the Wicklow Way, which I am going to walk in the summer of 2015. The wind was gushing and throwing us back and forth, the trail was up and down, with some steep incline at the end up to Djouce. The elevation of the trail was 200meter, from 400m at the start to 600m at the top of Djouce. The view was staggering. Driving back home the sun started to set and I captured a few more images. Enjoy.

Pretty pictures. Especially like "Colorful sunset". Sounds like it was a great trip.

These are gorgeous! What a walk! I'd never get to the end - too busy stopping to take photos! Dublin's grown a bit since I was there (in '69).

Fantastic array of photos from your journey.

Very Nice Semmick. Thank You for sharing

I'm drawn to "colorful sunset" as well, Semmick. That wispy cloud is wonderful!

Great pictures! I'd have never made the climb either. You'd find me down below playing with my ipad LOL. The only change I would make would be to take for example: Your Valleys at Sunset and tweek it a little more dark. You'll see how brilliant your sky will pop.

Thanks Erica, I lightened it on purpose as the image had an underexposed feel to it. :)
