Hello. New To This Site!!

Hello to Everyone here at Fine Art America.
I was sent an email about this site and I joined immediately when I saw how big it is and that it's FREE which means a lot to me, and it's a great site to hopefully create more opportunity about art and my own artwork as well.
My name is Mike Filippello and I live in a small city in upstate New York--called Canandaigua. I started painting in 2003 when I loved in Florida. I'm a self-taught artist and I've been very fortunate about how my work has been recieved. I've had a painting published in DECOR magazine in February 2006, I was featured in a local newspaper for the "artist spotlight" section in September 2006. I'm also a published author and illustrator of my first children's book "Miratambo Moonsong" which was published in 2004. I recently finished the sequel to "Miratambo Moonsong" and looking for a publisher for that. My main online gallery is at www.artwanted.com/mikefilippello and that has 112 images of my paintings, drawings, and exclusive pictures of illustrations for "In A Place Called Barrontippeny" the sequel to "MIratambo Moonsong"
I'm really excited to have the opportunity to be represented on this site and to get to know all of the other artists on this fantastic site.
