The Meet the members is different. But clicking on one of those members just takes you to your own local area for members and not their profile.

Just a FYI - the slideshow roll is not too smooth for me. Has a few "jumps" in the transitions. Using FF 27.0.1

Hi Pamela, thanks for the heads-up............I like the stronger colours, and see the emphasis on sales and marketing rather than garnering more members; it's a good start.
The images on each of the squares of products available, have sat there for years now, boring, untouched,uninteresting.....time to update those, too..........it should all be consistent presentation, but isn't because of those...hoping for changes
Nice to have more 'featured' images, yes.
Am sure there's more in the works........appreciate the changes so far....a little more slick,a lot brighter........

Andee, before when you clicked on the meet the members they were all original members from 07 at least the faces are new now and maybe others will get some exposure but yes it should link to their particular profile.


The slideshow was a little sticky for me too Dan; thought it was just my old computer.

Hi Viv, maybe we are still to see more changes but I like the new colors too.

I think that page is still being worked on as we speak. A WIP if you will...

The pop up that one would sign up with email address for notification of special offers, not going to miss that.

I am confused about the cell phone covers, thought they were only offered on pixels but I was able to put one in my cart.

Looks like phone cases are offered on FAA.

Only for those that have been featured on the homepage as far as I can see.

To me, the enlarged slideshow coming up first is too much "In Your Face"...I wonder if visitors realize there's more to the home page, below it.

Oh, that's funny, Roger. I did not know there was anything below that large first screen! LOL Now I see what everybody was talking about! I guess I'm too lazy to scroll down when it doesn't look like there is any reason to do so.

that phone case thing is really confusing. you can only get to it on that front page - unless that's a part of the update, which it could really use. if you like the artist, you can't see other covers by that person, which will only lead to confusion.

I"m so glad they kept that hilarious video.

It reminds me exactly what FAA is, ever reminding me that my artwork does not speak for itself.

It stresses to me, as an artist, that I need to continue to promote my art and seek out masters of promotion and learn from them.

More featured artists is good. The web tour video....though is pretty amateurish....to be critical, but a nice try! Sure needs a better designer/illustrator!!!

I think it's too dark - but I do like it better than that yellow chair.

Agree so much, Mary.......amateurish - please can we have something less cartoonish and more high art/sophisticated..??

The darned pop up still exists. Just stay on the page long enough and boom, it appears out of nowhere....

What I found concerning the phone cases is that you can choose "phone cases" from shop but in order to see anything other than faa featured art you have to use the sort options.
Good news, I saw three people on my watch list on page one by chosing the "recently commented on" option. I didnt take the time to search for my own art but at least the search
will cycle with activity.

Since the Home Page has just been mentioned on another site, I'm reviving Ms.Patch"s thread here..

Throughout the years, I've commented on how I felt that the Home Page, had too many features , some redundant, others misleading, a bit of a "Hodge Podge".

Now, to me it's gone Too Far in the Opposite direction.....Everything except for the Big "START SHOPPING" button has been deleted from the initial page.

Don't you guys think, that a small introduction is call for, before one get's down to business??

Well, Roger, and Pamela..........the Home Page sliding enticements are soo big, I didn't even know to scroll down !
That's where your idea fits in, Roger......an Introduction without sliding enticements........

And when there, of all things, there they are.........those Product boxes for the buyer to click, still with ancient artwotrks.......................

Please change those images, to reflect new works, even if not mine, !!
