Promoting it here won't do much to make it into a sale but I'm game. This is actually the only one I have that has over 500 views and no sale. Maybe its just a dud.
random images in a thread won't invite customers because
A - there are no words unless you have meta, and even then you can't search the page once here.
B - random topics won't get people.
you want to advertise outside of the site not inside. there are so many threads like this, show your lowest, your highest, but they won't get a customer unless it's a specific topic.
I probably have 50 or so works that have 500+ views but no sales, but here are a few that have never sold a print yet get a lot of attention from people who want the image for some commercial use:
The number of views on any image on FAA - mean nothing - if they are not buyer views. If it's friends, family, or FAA members (except for collectors) - the views mean nothing. You got to put your work in front of buyers - If only I could find where they hang out.
These images all have between 527 and 643 views but no sales. I'm not sure if any conclusions can be drawn but my images that have sold all had less than 50 views at the time of their sale.
