Traditionally, I use a black background or one of my own photos for background when I create 3D computer graphics. I'm experimenting with using the highest definition images from the Hubble Telescope as TIF images instead (they are free, in the public domain and work well with fractal objects). Someone asked about sales of digital abstracts - I've had none.
Though I've never tried, I can export 3D meshes of the objects I create. I'd like to experiment with 3D printing.
