Yes, we did know. You can also save the image with a print screen on the normal computer

Images are not safe online, simple as that really.

Bradford,

Maybe because the browser she is using ignores the "disable right click script". I have "heard" that can happen.

I think too if you use Firefox, you can install an add-on that also bypasses these java scripts. (depends on what Sean is using for script to disable right-click)

Patty,

If you are worried about someone using your display image for anything other than what you authorize, consider using the FAA watermark. It won't stop everyone, but a lot of people looking for images to use for blogs, wallpaper, etc. will probably skip by it and go to another image that is "clean".

I use an ipad sometimes. I thought this was some easy way to save just the image part of the page. I know how to do a screen save on the whole page and crop it. If I could save just the image it would be a nice shortcut to put my photos on my phone in low res. If there is a quick easy way to save just the image someone can send me a private message. lol.

Three months later: This is worrisome....any image saved on an iPad can be copied to dimensions that exceed the smallest RF size. Can't this be prevented??

Linda;

Don't wallow in worry. There's always some ne're do well who is looking to steal someone's image. This is why Reverse Google Image should always be your friend.

Once I got the hang of it I found it very easy to save just the image to my ipad, no cropping needed. That said I don't even watermark my images. Image thieves are not my market lol. Since no license is offered it should have no impact on license sales. You can't screen save a license, so the image is useless for any use where a license is required. People who want a free 900 pixel image don't license images. They just go to Google Images and take them. Those will never be part of your customer base so just think of them as your image marketers.
