Faa And Uk Printing Partner Any News?

Does anyone know how this is going? I think I saw on one thread way back that it was hoped that FAA would be working with a UK printing partner by 2014 so I was wondering if there is any news about this?

Thanks

Natalie

We will make an announcement when it is happening.

Is it still a possibility then? I'm considering giving up my personal website in favour of my FAA Artists website but don't want to do this without FAA having a printing partner in UK.

Yes this is happening as far as I have been told

Is there any way that I could find out what the progress is with regards to this? I'd really love to know if it's still likely to be this year or not. Thanks.

I searched discussions but couldn't find an answer and I need to know for a buyer in Europe...Has this happened yet?
Thanks.

Thanks much, Heather, I appreciate it.

and I'm with Mike's last post on that thread...

Why do frame choices in the UK need to match frame choices in US? I would think that's going to be very difficult to achieve. Quality in both frames and printing should do the trick.

Unless...this may have more to do with the coding of this site?

I have no word yet

I believe Sean will not want to recode, or have to separate the sites.at all. The whole point is to keep the sites 'as is'
with only the ability to ship from different areas.

Thanks, Abbie.

(if staying with GD is the plan)...

I'm thinking that since GD is a "Made in America" company and the woods they use are an important part of their business...they would need to open up a shop in Europe and ship either their frame inventory/woods there...or we wont be seeing an announcement. ;)

I am a keen internet shopper, but as a rule I look only for shops from the EU to avoid custom fees, these fees are absurd high and process is very bureaucratic and long. It means we lose many European customers here. I have reasonable jewelry sales on Etsy, but only from the USA or Canada. Europeans are buying only tutorials, so instant download not custom issues. If we would like to have good sales in Europa, there should be possibility to print in one of 28 EU countries.
