I Phone Cases

you shouldn't evaluate not selling things base on one return. i haven't any returns on the ones i have. they may have thought the image was lighter, but it was really darker. maybe they just upgraded their phone at the wrong time. maybe it was a gift, but they hated it. impossible to know. offer everything, people can buy it or not, if there was an issue on quality everyone would be complaining about returns.

I ordered a phone case for myself -- it came yesterday. I was very impressed with the fast shipping as well as the quality. The image was exactly as the print.

I have a repeat client who ordered a phone case and she was thrilled with the result.

Good to know. This picture must just have not been good for a phone case! :)

I've not had any sales of phone cases - I just lowered all my prices to $2.50 something maybe is better than nothing. I'll give it another 6 and then I'll delete the whole idea.

I've not sold any either, Roy, but I'll let them sit. It's been my experience that buyers can pop up when you least expect them!

But, I put no work into the phone cases, just list images that will work with no 'tweaking' on my part. Nothing to lose! :-)

The cases look good. They are not, however, the kind of cases that provide lots of protection for the phone. I can imagine some customers thinking they want something both decorative and sturdy. Those people might not like our cases. But I do think they look good.

Just sold my first phone case last week. Who would have thought it would be of this drawing?

Maybe the buyer bought the wrong style of case. I still use my iPhone 3s (nothing wrong with it so why upgrade?)...but the cases for the 4 and 5 do not fit my phone. Or, maybe the buyer bought an iPhone case, and should have bought one for a Samsung or other brand. We never know why people return things. It's the same on Zazzle. Beautiful dogwoods in your painting, btw!

Thanks, Joy! I'm so happy for all the feedback here because I was concerned about the quality or if the case was right. I think there are plenty of reasons it was returned so I just won't worry about it. Then again, maybe I don't want my paintings on an iphone case. It's not like it's much money, especially compared with the prints, canvases, etc.

I think it's beautiful, Lil! Art, like beauty, is mainly in the eye of the beholder....so maybe it just wasn't this person's taste! There will be another person who will like it! :)

How do customers buy iphone cases when I can't find them on my FAA site? What's the scoop? Sorry, if this seems like a stupid question. But Help!!! lol =)

Phone cases are a Pixel.com item and will only be shown when viewing pixel.com, not in fineartamerica.com. They are both owned and operated by the mothership, and share almost everything about them, but they are different sites and certain items will only show on pixel.com.

You also have to turn that option to sell in pixel.com on from behind the scene/domains

@Genevieve........I notice that here at FAA many peoples' tags now contain unremovable "iphone cases" tags, under their images - that tag is put there by FAA, on FAA - which supposedly doesn't sell iphone cases..........am sure if you check your tags, click the 'iphone cases' that will take you/your visitor to pixels.com - but I don't have that tag, by choice because I don't sell those items and was annoyed they appeared here at FAA , which doesn't sell those items, on my images, so I asked for that link to be removed...................have a try..........see if your 'iphone cases' tag at your image takes you off FAA on to Pixels................

I bought this as an iphone case for myself. The picture looks almost too good...like it is unreal. The case is a strong plastic that says casemate on the side. Phone snaps in and is held pretty tight. I have dropped the phone and it stayed on and did not mar. The iphone 5 has a function that is not supposed to let the phone land on its glass when dropped... without the case it does not land on the glass, with the case it does :/ The case does have a small lip that may still protect the glass. As for the beauty of the case... I get tons of people commenting on the case! Kinda like a business card.....So naturally I show it off! ;) Love it!

I did a search for your iphone cases and they look beautiful! Cannot understand the return unless the case was not what the person wanted because the art is beautiful and looks really good on the case!

Vivian the tag doesn't bother me. I went ahead and put a link on each of my FAA galleries
to the Pixels.com. I almost wish the little phone avatar appeared on the FAA side, to
make it easier for people to see so they can purchase the phones. I understand you
can purchase them on Pixels.com. Just think the phone icon should be on FAA too!

I've sold a few. No returns. They seem expensive to me but I'm cheap. ;-)

i'm actually trying to make iphone cases available for sale, I already have photos available, are the phone cases automatically available or do I have to make or load them in a separate location?

The iphone cases only appear on the pixels.com website which you can log into with your FAA password and will only appear for sale if you put a price in the image details

Actually Gill (and everyone else who sends us to pixels.com), you CAN purchase Galaxy Cases and iPhone Cases directly here on FAA.

Run a Search (e.g. for Lunch) on FAA and get the search results ...
then click on e.g. iPhone Cases in the "Products" column on the left or in the 'Products'-drop-down list above the search results.
The search results page for Lunch iPhone Cases will come up and you can add the iPhone Case(s) of your choice to your shopping cart and move on to check out.

It works the same for Galaxy Cases.
Try it :-)

Well, that's weird, Christine, why did they say you needed to belong to Pixels if you want to sell them. Now I'm really confused but I've checked and mine come up as well.

I have sold and the buyer told me they got it fast and loved it.
