I think it would be interesting to share each other our wonderful story with FAA.
Since I joined Fine Art America, in October 2010, I sold over 90 originals to buyers from all over the world ( U.S.A., Australia, Canada, U.K., Israel, Taiwan, New Zealand, France, Brazil, Switzerland, Romania etc. ). Most of these buyers found me on this fantastic site, which is FAA. If this has happened to you, too, please share.
These are some of my originals that were purchased by buyers who found my works here, on FAA :

I am fairly new to FAA (about 1 month) and have not sold anything :( but this thread has given me hope! It is great to see originals and prints being sold by painters on this site!
PS: If anyone wants to give me advise, I would love to hear it.

This is a good thread. It's great to see that originals are sold too. I myself have approached an artist on here as I would like to purchase one of his originals, but he has no idea of the shipping costs involved from America to the UK ..........I've elected to receive the painting unframed (20''x16''). Any of you wonderful American artists ever shipped originals to the UK, if so could you give me a ball park figure as to general shipping costs ?

I started wonderfully this year. I sold this original oil painting to an art collector from Timisoara, Romania :

Ruth, Genevieve, Jamie, Jenny and Monela, big congratulations on your sold originals.
I sold other 2 original oil paintings last week to a buyer from Louisiana, U.S.A. The wonderful thing is that this gentleman purchased other 2 of my originals in January this year. Now he wants other 2. It is such a good feeling when art collectors come back for other works ( and this happened quite often to me :)... These are the originals he purchased last week :

Marvelous paintings, Loretta. Tommy is such a hear breaker and those little birds are so delicately painted. What can I say about your sunflower, which is so gloriously beautiful.....
