Print On Demand System ... Need Clarification Please!

H guys,
It seems I've hit a snag and I'm not sure I can get around it. I currently have a free account with FAA. I have been uploading my images since yesterday. Today I hit the magic 25 number and the system flagged me and informed me that I have reached my limit using the print on demand system that FAA has in place. I gather that print on demand is the system that allows you to set different prices for different sizes, framing options, greeting cards etc... and FAA does all the heavy lifting when it comes to product fulfillment to the customer. Since it appears that I've hit my limit, am I to understand that the only way I can offer these options on more than 25 images and for FAA to fulfill the orders on my work is, if I choose the $30.00 per year ugrade? I understand they will do it on the 25 pieces I've uploaded already but if I want to make more images available, do I have to upgrade or is there a procedure step I am missing? It seems now that all I can offer is 25 prints. I need some clarification on this please.

Once you see the quality of the prints that FAA produces and leave the printing, shipping, payments, etc... to them, you will find that you have more time to focus on producing prints, not taking orders and working to fulfill them, etc...

FAA paid itself off with my first sale and I have been hooked ever since.

I would encourage you to join as a premium member, it is a steal of a price.

Isabella beat me to it.

That widget alone is worth $30.00 a year. In fact, I would pay $100.00 (but don't tell FAA I said that!)

John, where do you find that to add to your website. I'd like to do that to mine....also, can you only show things in a specific gallery? Like say, flowers? I have my website tabs each showing a different/specific subject matter for each tag. Thank you in advance for your help.

Oh, and WELCOME KEN!

Ken, free accounts can upload an unlimited number of images but you can only offer 25 of those images for sale as prints.
You don't have to delete any images .... just keep uploading.
Then sort your images to make sure that the 25 images you offer for sale are the FIRST 25 images in your portfolio.

Ken, how easy is it for people to buy your work from your website? Here you can link FAA to your website and people can buy your stuff from FAA directly from YOUR website.

Thanks Roy. I know it's a good deal. (I really don't need a website though.) I already have one that my website designer wife Kim built for me from the ground up. But like I said, I will test the waters a little before stepping out into the deep on this. I have another online presence that I am trying to maintain and keep stocked and also I have a big once a year juried show I am going to have to print for as well. Thanks for your input though. It is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply Greg. Since this is a new venture for me, I think what I am going to do it edit some of my pieces (so that I have no duplicates of the same thing in different light) and test the waters with the 25 to see how well they sell here on FAA. I agree $30.00 a year is peanuts but I have a few other priorities that my monies are screaming at me for right now and I need to prioritize. Who knows, if my images start selling here, I can always use the revenues from that to upgrade a little later so that I am not coming directly out of pocket.

$30 is an excellent deal - then you can have galleries for different things and you get an artist website that you can promote your images to outside of FAA to drive traffic to just your images. I don't think you can find a better website deal on the internet.

You're correct, Ken. If you want to offer more than 25 images for sale, you will need to go with the $30 Premium feature. It ain't a bad deal actually. Yes, FAA does all of the "heavy lifting" you mentioned. Go to "Behind the Scenes" and check out the Premium features.
