I woke to the thought this morning that my lifetime is less than a nanosecond in the greater scheme of things.

I'm very content with how things are shaping up.....you can pack a whole lot of living in that billionth of a second...

Take life one breath at a time.

My goal is to earn my living through expressing myself artistically.

I want to paint better today then I did yesterday, and better tomorrow then I did today. If I have enough days left in my life, - who knows, I may get good at it.

By the way..... I like that new pic of you Charles- I was a handsome dude myself once upon a time..... but alas, life has taken its toll. : (

Well Ron, I sure didn't think my life was going towards being an artist until my 5th decade on Earth. I am passionate about my art and over the past 10 years have eliminated or cut down on many other things that I enjoyed in the past. I am coming full circle again and have been thinking of getting back to these. Must be turning 61 that accounts for this! I have worked very hard, feel I have gained recognition and success in what I have done so far and will keep creating but take some of the pressure off.

Gosh Beth, I thought I had a very nice smile in that photo!

Not to be funny but (I am 55 and been working professionally as an artist for about 30 years) my wish is to be an artist when I grow up.

Yeah, Mario said it right.

I've pondered on this question for a while, what I really wanted to be was an artist when I grow up. I guess I'm on it right now.
