The Heavier Print Papers Rolled In A Tube?

Glad! Why not check with Tech support to confirm policy for mailing heavyweight prints. I was amazed at the care taken, back then.

Vivian, I am liking what you said about sending the heaviest stock in a flat box, as opposed to rolled. I had a black and white old print that was destined for the trash can, and I tried to roll it. Maybe because it was hot press bright paper from Epson, which has a "soft" feel to it, but just the act of rolling it, scratched the blackest parts of the surface.

To flatten, I use my 20lb copy of The Works of Leonardo" book, takes a few days

If you do get something rolled, the best way to flatten it out is to unroll it and sandwich the print between two pieces of cardboard. use masking tape to keep the cardboard tight. After a few days the print can be removed and should be flat for framing.

Although I unwittingly ordered 'rolled', FAA posted to me in a flat box,with careful protection,and it arrived in a pristine condition...on that heaviest stock.....hopefully that would always be the case.....
