Websites For A U.k. Artist

I have found recently that sales have really slowed down, i have been uploading more and actually joining in with discussions and contests more too, but i'm selling more on artist rising which is nowhere near as good as FAA, Does anyone else have much success with other sites, and which are the best for a u.k. based artist. :(

Funny that i only mentioned Redbubble in this conversation the other day and what should i find out today that i just sold my 1st 3 prints on there...well, i was happy until i realised that the royalty profit will be £2.79p for the three....ahhh i can finally retire. Lol.

I had an ImageKind account. Does not get anywhere near as much traffic and attention as FAA, so I didn't bother with it anymore

@Abbie Shores The web hosting company Zenfolio use One Vision Imaging Ltd for UK and Europe printing http://www.onevisionimaging.com/ in case that might be of interest to FAA

Redbubble which is Australian based has had a UK printer for some years now.

I sell at least once a week via them, but have yet no sales on FAA.

It would be great to have a discount for artists wanting to print their own work off for clients, and maybe a certificate of authenticity for an artist to download off from faa to be able to send out directly to the client after singing it.

@Abbie - That is great news! Much needed!

Sounds good news guys if Sean can get the U.K. based company to do the printing....I have used printers "The Dot Foundry2 for my larger printing needs for u.k. clients. I think they are based in Swansea. A good printing firm.

Abbie, that would be great if there was a UK printer for FAA, hope it happens.

Really, that's good, I actually wanted to make some prints myself to sell at local art fairs. I hope it's done soon because I would like to know if people would actually buy my art if it's put in front of them rather than them searching for it!

Sean is working on finding a UK printer for us

See a lot of people that I know from home have wanted to buy my work, but haven't because of the delivery cost from FAA. I usually end up getting it printed myself for them.

I would rather they could go through a major UK site and order the artwork they want without having to contact me about alternatives.

It's another U.S based site but they only send out royalty checks when they reach over $50 and they take v.a.t. at their end so you practically end up with a very small amount to what they are getting themselves. Not a great site Conor.

Great thread. I would like to know what sites are best for UK artists too, I live in Northern Ireland. I've never heard of artist rising? Is it good Andrew?
