Excessive Frequent Visits From Same Visitor....

I've noticed that I have been getting many hits daily of one of my photos, without a single sale. Mostly from someone in New York, NY and occasionally from Hong Kong too. Does anyone else have this? Does anyone know why this could be happening? Any suggestions?

Thank you!

I'm new here, so forgive me if you feel I'm speaking out of turn. But speaking just for myself, I will often look at an item a thousand times before I decide whether or not I want to buy it. It's twice as true when it's something like appliances or furniture or art I'll have to live with a long time.

I'd just be flattered someone likes it so well, and figure they just may buy it when -and if- they decide it just has to come home to them. :)

Eve if you are seeing a few visitors on your works at the same time - they are "bots". Bots are little somethings that grasp the view & get everything all saved & lined up in Google.
It's ok - they are good things. They will bring in more views.

Eve, I agree with Julie. When I get on to FAA I almost always view my favorites page, and click on a few images, one in particular that I think I will purchase someday, just haven't bit the bullet yet.

Janine is correct. Most regular visitors are search engines

some are bots, some are deciding if they want to buy , others are decorators amassing a huge order that may not be ordered for a week or more. it all varies, i wouldn't worry about their locations and such too much.

When I was on another site, I noticed that certain pics were getting huge amounts of views---those of children, boys in particular. These were from all different people but I sent the info over to the site, cus I was thinking this might be someone trying to steal these pics for porn purposes...Personally, I always report anything that is out of the ordinary and somewhat repetitive.

I find it odd when I see someone visit from China but only look at one or two images with similiar keywords. So I am thinking bot also in some cases. But if I was a buyer spending my hard earned cash I might look at your photo more than a few times before purchasing. Granted you can return it within 30 days but I hate returning stuff.

Every once in a while I scroll through a large part of my gallery because I notice when I do that, the bots hit a lot of my images again. Just trying to get indexed. The bot hits ALWAYS tick up when I do that, so they must be triggered by activity as well as other things.

Most of mine get hits from the same locations also.
