Up And Down

I've quit worrying about search - because I don't think it works at all. What works is you getting your name and your images out in the public. Anyone coming here just looking for art - will soon get tired - because the searches are NOT accurate - there is all kinds of junk that comes up in search that is not related to what you are looking for. There is NO control and NO oversite of the tags and keywords unless someone of us complains - and even then - "I" don't think FAA really cares nor do they spend the time. FAA loves the sellers and the money for your premium account.

i think there are like 25 things it takes in account. but it varies and it's hard to tell because you would have to keep track of all your files. it also depend on the keywords used, and it think if people used that word to buy your thing, then it will be higher as well.

Thanks Paul, never realized it would include all of that info.

A good search will have lots of things in it, including your overall performance as well as the frequency with which an image sells over time, time since last sale etc. etc., so any given image should shift position on an almost daily basis (or every time the search data are updated).

No to be honest i never thought of it myself before Mike, a friend mentioned it the other day and i just couldn't give an answer...so the thing is to get the pump working then..lol

i don't know since i never paid attention to it. i would imagine that you don't go down, but could lose your place. so its not like you would go to the back, but if someone beats you out in sales, you will slip a bit. but to get up high you have to sell A LOT and chances are you tend to stay there, once the pump is primed it will just work.
