Good work. There is a clear improvement between the first image, WIP, and the second image, WIP 2.

I agree, I think the yellow/orange strips break up the image too much. Interesting to see what this image will end up looking like when it is finished

I like the outline effect, Joshua. I'm not sure about the yellow striping. My eye kind of stops on the yellow....
