Greg, I actually prefer bright sunny days for the chalanging. I like when there is against light creating strong contrast and clean sky to make it black with red filter on black and white photographs. :)
Always thought that the human body is created by God, the human body is beautiful. Both men and women, tall, short, fat, thin, or black or white. Many works by old masters with their own brush to express the admiration of the human body. However, the many beautiful oil painting of the human body can not be appreciated, deemed pornographic, often the shadow mask in a public log. Hair on this log, I do not know whether it is the date of masked, but the opening of the network to exchange it? Today to see this group of paintings, I feel very beautiful, art and pornography, is not the screen, is that of the human heart. http://www.outletsart.com
I posted the results of my recent OOF - Out Of Frame contest to my FAA blog. Since there are no monetary prizes, this is one of the "incentives" I give my contest members/winners. There's also a link to FB, and results posted on several FAA discussion threads as well as winning images featured on the sponsoring group's home page in the top positions for at least a week (or more).
Good luck on your show.
Have a friend, or a husband in your case, to suport and gve a hand makes a lot of difference expecially emotionally.
Welcome back to film. :)
Me too, and I think everyone, feel more attached to the theme or the work they are photographed when shoot with film, because digital attract your atention too look at the images on the camera screen and it is distracting. That's why diferent medias has diferent potencialities and therefore diferents results and messages.

Stephen Wilkes is one of many artists that are inspiring my current work at University. This video gives you an insight into his practice and the process involved to create the magnificent photographs of his Day to Night Series.
I'm leaving my wife behind in February as I leave England and I travel to Canada to take up a job driving long haul all over Canada and the USA.
We did it together for a year a while back but this time I will be gone by myself for about 5 months before she can travel out to join me.
I'll be based in the small town of Claresholm, Alberta, and I hope to keep an interesting blog about my travels, which I've already started here... http://mickflynn.blogspot.co.uk/ Feel free to have a look in.
I have a blog which has been running since 2009. It does not have many visitors per entry, though over time the older entries get more views. I post once a week on it. Most of the time it is the latest piece of artwork accompanied with a written description, the same as posted elsewhere. The blog is very useful however as a record/ timeline of when the work was posted on the internet.
A surreal dreamlike scene of a tree flourishing on a floating island. The Nature of Dreams reflects both the mysterious architecture of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that occur subconsciously in the mind while sleeping, and a Utopian world where nature is free from mankind’s destruction.
The artwork was made from a series of photographs that were digitally edited and blended together with Photoshop.
