Rich, I don't believe the Montego ever had the squiggly bright work on the C pillar. I'm of the thought that this is indeed a 1968 Ford Thunderbird 2-door Landau.

Glen,

Look at the extra rear window, not in your google search. I think this might be a Mercury product.

The Thunderbird photo in Glenn's link looks like the car shown.
I bought a new Thunderbird in 1979. It was a nice car. I liked it. Unfortunately, it had a major transmission
problem shortly after the warranty expired. Maybe that explains why I was seeing Monterey.

Mercury Monterey comes to mind. A google search shows it looks like a Monterey. Late '60s, maybe 1968.

Hi,Rich,the green box is on.
I am heading forward to Wendy guess: 1968 Ford Thunderbird 2-door Landau
I also turned green box on other photo "La Quinta Old Town Village"
At the end of street one can see same car from back (use green box).
Thanks all for tips.

Viktor,

It might even be a Mercury product, like the Montego. It looks like it might have been customized a bit too. Can you turn on the "green box"?

It's a 67-68-69 Tbird, I recognize the swoop on the side of the top.
My guess is a 68 because the side body marker lights at the rear are longer than a 69.
The turn signal indicators on top of the fenders have me stumped.
I think that was an upgrade feature back then.

Deborah, photo was taken on the street of Old Town Village of La Quinta. It is not private area but designed to people to come and enjoy the day.

Can you enlarge the ornamentation at the rear of the roof? That might help narrow it down.

Also, you might want to clone out that huge street address on the building. If that's a private home, somebody might get upset seeing it for sale online.

After a little Googling, I believe it's title is '1968 Ford Thunderbird 2-door Landau'. Looks like a hardtop, though -- not a convertible.

Viktor, it looks like a late '60s Thunderbird.
