Thank you all for the thoughts and support. Sorry I have not updated this in a while, the last week has been very difficult. On 1/24 my dad was flown to another hospital and it was not known if he'd make the flight as he was in serious condition. His intestines ruptured and he had to have emergency surgery. He was in ICU until three days later and then moved into his own room. He will have to go into a nursing home.
I had my second colonoscopy today and the both the large mass and a small polyp was removed by the doctor. He said I wouldn't need surgery today since those were removed. I will hear the results of the pathology on both next week. The last 2 weeks has been very stressful for me and it will continue until things settle down. I may not be in discussions much for a while.
