Search Update Issue, Again

Search db just got updated :-)

Seems Wednesday was the last indexing day.

Something I added on Thursday is not indexed yet? Is that possible?

Yupp, this seems to be a recurring issue lately.

There should be ways to deal with this that aren't horrible. Mainly, a replacement index can be created PRIOR to dropping a bad index, so that at least some index is functioning during index creation. If your server can't handle reindexing under normal load, your server needs an upgrade.

My pieces I listed yesterday and the day before are not showing up yet...

Make that at least 4... is it because the site is so busy on Saturday morning?

Is this tied in at all with the comments on the activity feed? I have done at least 3, hours ago and they showed posting but did not and are gone. I don't think it is saving them this morning.

1 week later ... again:

Could we please get the Search db updated ASAP ?
It's the weekend and we would have time to work on our keywords and marketing and stuff, but that doesn't make much sense with an outdated Search db.

So when the server is updated tonight will it correct our visitor numbers? I have a new image viewed numerous times but shows 3 :-(
