Poetica And Being An Artist

Posted by: Angelina Vick on 01/09/2013 - 2:11 PM

Hi friends,

I made a post about being contacted by Poetica a little while back. Trying to check on the legitimacy.

I have made a licensing deal with an author...=) It's the first time my art will be on a book.
It's a poetry chap book. The author is also going to send me a copy.

I know we get a lot of spam. I know things don't go smoothly and frequently go sideways.

But sometimes...it's easy. Keep making your art...do what you love. You never know who will love it too.

Thank you John.

I know it's such an uphill climb being an hard...but the climb is worth reaching the top now and then. ;)

I'm really convinced of the importance of art. Beauty...it isn't a requirement, it's not air, or food...but art impacts the world in powerful ways.
Whether is capturing it, painting it with a brush...or in a computer.
Every year, I see the more I work...the more I earn. Artwork is work.

You're welcome Sydne. Thank you so much.
