One of my favorite subjects is water - especially calm water that reflects colors of the season and sky. The wide formate of this painting will fit nicely over a sofa or fireplace.

This painting has a lot of contrast sunlight and shadow, blue against gold, warm colors vs. cool. My source is from a trip through the southern Rockies a few years ago. Didn't have time to stop amp paint, but make a quick sketch and snapped a photo...
