This is our front door in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I love the reflection of the flag in the door, a mirror image. We keep it flying for all current and past Men and Women who serve in the US Military. We are so grateful to them! 

This is our resident White Heron that hangs at our pond in Florida. She is super friendly and I just had to paint her.

I have been facinated by these birds since childhood. I see them all over in Florida mostly around the water or sitting on overhead wires. Loved painting him! 

I painted this trying to capture the essence of this guy. He had his head turned all the way around while I was photographing him. He gave me "the eye". 

I created this painting in honor of Kansas Day and my Mother who lives in and loves Kansas. 

Painted from the Bird of Paradise bush in our front yard which is so orange it appears to be on fire. 

Sunflowers are my favorite flower to paint because they are so sunny. It's impossible not to be happy when painting Sunflowers! 

This is a watercolor I did of my friends dog, Brandy. She's such a sweet girl 

Meet Brandy! I did this commissioned portrait for a friend of mine on Boca Grande. She saw a demo of a fun painting I did of our dog Simon and asked me to do one for them to remember their beloved Brandy. 

I painted this painting as a gift to a group of my friends who are walking in this years American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Englewood, Florida. I meditate before beginning to paint and ask to be quided for the perfect image to paint for this do... 

This Old Boot planter was a unique scene outside a restaurant in the charming village of St Cirq la Popie in Southwestern France. I couldn't resist painting it!
