Three koi swim lazily above smooth rocks. I find koi very relaxing. 

I'm forever inspired by nature in general, but particularly by trees.

This is from a photo that a friend took in Costa Rica. I'm hoping to make it there someday. 

Lately I've become very interested in circles. Particularly in painting them. Not perfect circles, mind you I prefer imperfection. There is character in imperfection. 

It's important that we let go of old beliefs, values and even relationships that no longer serve us, just as trees let go of their leaves.
