While traveling in Provence, I bought this woven cloth. When I placed the fruit upon the dish, I knew it just had to be painted! 

I created this painting using several photos I had taken at the beach in Corpus Christi. I love the subtle colors in the white of the birds. 

This is a digitally enhanced watercolor, which I created. 

One sunny morning I stopped to rest on a road trip and this lovely cow turned, when she heard my motor running. I snapped a photo and decided to place her in a field of wheat, when I painted her. The title came to mind and made me smile and remember... 

The Mission San Jose sits proudly on the San Antonio Mission Trail in Texas. In Springtime, lush wildflowers abound. 

A road trip led me through Goliad during the peak of wildflower season in Texas. The cloudy day served as a perfect backdrop for the burst of color on the hillside. This is a photograph, not a painting.

I was recently drawn to a beautiful magnolia blossom, in it's final glory. Flawed, but beautiful in it's own way, and still somthing to be cherished. 

 

After the wedding the flower girls gather together. 

 

Window shopping in Assisi, Italy led me to paint this still life with the surprising element of chickens looking in the window, admiring the eggs and little rooster cream pitcher. 

 

The reflections of the blue sky swirl among the waterlilies and small gold fish.
