The last shoot of 2011. Mother Nature is allowing another year to fade away. 

On a calm, clear evening, icebergs appear to float off into the sunset.  

Lupines, on the near shore, bask in the sun with the river behind them in deep shade. 

A late summer evening view, along the shore of White Bay, looking out toward the Atlantic. The last icebergs of the season slowly float quietly by to their unknown destination.  

The final colour of the day touches the water before fading into darkness.  

Spring time in northern Ontario. A massive block of ice is blown on shore, crushing the thin ice, along the shore line, below it.  

Small islands seem to be fading away into the distant fog.  

An iceberg, in White Bay, seems to be floating off into the sunset.  

On what had proven to be a dreary, cloudy evening, the sun broke through the clouds at the horizon, painting the landscape with colour.  

After a long journey, these icebergs stopped for a spell to enjoy the sun. These two are piece that have broken off a huge iceberg farther off shore.

A small boat waits patiently for warmer weather, open water and companionship.  

The first real sign that spring is coming the snow is beginning to melt around the trunks of trees. 

Cedar tips, broken off the trees above, had a hard fall onto the granite rocks below.
