Chains of paper cranes hand in the Hiroshima Memorial to victims of the Bomb. The belief is that if a thousand paper cranes will be made for a dying person, it will bring healing. 

The fan stands as an icon of the great heat I experienced while visiting Kyoto. The graceful movement of the fan creates the motion of air in the background. 

Inspired by a visit to one of the wonderful Stone Garden in Kyoto, this lyrical abstraction creates a feeling of peace and contemplation. 

A magical place in a sunlit inner garden in Toledo. The Moorish arks and the decorative ironwork blend with the colourful flowers within. This work has much texture due to collage of lace like objects. 

With only one color, sepia, black and gold leaf, this work achieves great richness of movement.
