The old, cardboard 3-D glasses intrigue me. This simple, flimsy object promises a walk into another, more fantastic world. Sometimes the glasses deliver on their promise and sometimes use of them results in a huge letdown.

This photo can be interpreted in different ways, but my intention was to show how when talking about crime, safety, and guns, a cultural obsession with guns often seems more important than the actual right to protect ourselves as outlined in the 2nd ...
