A weather beaten pine tree stands admist rocks along the shore of the Maine coast. It has survived the bitter winter winds and shows the wear of time. Beautiful for it's strength and determination it protects the tree behind it with its windward side...

A beautiful day on Penobscot Bay, Maine. Approaching the lighthouse off of Rockport harbor with a brisk breeze. Northstar is a classic sailboat this is the view seen by the Captain.

This work is of the sea wall at Laite Beach, Camden, Maine before it was rebuilt. The wall as it is pictured here no longer exists but is a common memory to those who visited the area before the reconstruction. The beach is one of the few sandy beach... 

Newly painted and reflecting her surroundings this vessel boldy announces the pride of owners in their occupation and their country. A difficult rendering since I seldom paint metal hulls but well worth the effort. 

This was a fantastic feeling watching the Appledore return from a day sail. The harbor was drenched in sunlight and the sail was drying in the breeze as they approached the dock in their home port of Camden.
