A chance to wander on a local farm gave me the opportunity of sketching the animals, and this little lamb was interested in me. 

This was a very peaceful way to spend some time. The canal boats do not travel fast, and there is plenty of time to enjoy the lanscape and a great way to relax and just enjoy nature. The herons were often along the river bank waiting for fish. The... 

This Medieval Clergy House is open to visitors and is on the edge of the Green at Alfriston. The Church is on the Green closeby. 

An amazing place to spend some time. The mountains and landscape are as they must have been for many years. It was a remote, then unspoilt area. There were homes cut out of the hillside that people used to live and keep their animals.  

A favourite place for me to visit. This is Three Cliffs Bay on the Gower Peninsular in South Wales. The cows roam freely on the cliff top. There is a steep rocky path down to the beach.  

This was a lovely old car that was a gentleman's pride and joy.

This fisherman I saw sitting quiet and still on the sandy rocks in the hot sunshine, while the waves crashed on the rocks below. I wanted to recapture that moment.  

A wonderful holiday in Canada. The scenery was amazing and unforgettable. I am so thankful for the opportunity of seeing these magnificent places. 

 

Just looking at the amazing shapes and colours in the bark of a tree. 

I very much enjoyed painting these three apples which I set up together. It was interesting to see the colours in the shadows and they came fresh from the trees.
