Every winter the Monarch butterflies visit the Eucalyptus grove in Pismo Beach, California. They grace the bluegreen leaves with their delicate orange and yellow wings.

Chickens are part of Arroyo Grande, California's charm. This local rooster is in front of the historical swinging bridge.  

To celebrate the centennial of Arroyo Grande, California I painted one of the local roosters near the historic school house.  

Anchorage Alaska has a celebration once a year called the Fur Rondevous. One of the fun things to watch is the sprint racing. These dog have more fun than the spectators.  

Luke is the sweetest dog that waited for two years in an animal shelter for a good home.

The sweet little sled dog was patiently waiting to run over one thousand miles to Nome Alaska in the Iditorod race. It is so fun to see how excited these dogs get when they know it's time to run.  

As a volunteer for the Iditorod race in Alaska, I saw the most adorable sled dogs. It is amazing to see all the different sized and shapes. These puppies inspired me to paint what I envision them to be dreaming of as they watch the adult sled dogs. ...
