This time each year I fall in love with the red tulip all over again which results in at least one painting.  

A study for a large painting I started on April 24, 2010. The painting is still in progress I hope to finish it by end of year. This work I've enjoyed because of my love of the silver maple tree in our back courtyard where I have a view from above ...

Nothing like reclining underneath a big tree in the afternoon and watching the dance of shadow, light and color above.
