This pencil and watercolor is in sunny yellows, orange and blue sky done in watercolors and leaves the identity of the little girl to the viewer's imagination.

I love blue and orange so this international platform shoe appealed to me because I knew it would look great on an orange background.

This is the companion piece to Sparrow in Pink and one reason I like digital painting - because I can change the hue of a piece so easily. 

The sparrow in was a meditation piece and I still find it peaceful. I offer this in two hues (pink and the accompanying one in shades of blue/purple) because I see both pieces hung together, stair-stepped. 

It was Christmas but I was in a 60's mood - probably from seeing some of my mother's old Christmas decorations - so I did this gnome in an upholstered mod chair. This was the first shaded digital art that satisfied me. 

I like the idea of a softler, gentler dragonfly, an insect I'm not particularly fond of, but I think I portrayed this pink dragonfly as a specimen, which was, no doubt, a subconscious attempt to control it. Or not.
