The cool Autumn eevening is enhanced by the sun's last rays through the trees turning the leaves various colors.

I've seen the photo of the swans where the two heads form a heart. This photo reminded me of that, although it was taken in England. The two seemed to meet and nudge each other's head and neck. How romantic! 

There are many courtyards in New Orleans, and I'd love to paint them all. Each has its own personality and mystique. The sun sneaks through the surrounding buildings that cast the shade down on the courtyards which seem to know no season. 

The eyeless mask lay on the glass shelf during Mardi Gras in the boutique window in New Orleans. It seemed to have a life of its own, watching the silly passersby make fools of themselves having fun.  

Even in the late night the blossums of the first Irises in my garden are beautiful as the night time reflections of light hit the petals and cause shadows and color changes.
