Winter has arrive. Only a few leaves on the tree. 

The red-wind birds dwell in Marshy places. The male has brilliant red shoulders. 

These birds are outstanding in the bird world. The male bird wears a vivid red coat and a high crest on his head. The female bird is less prominent but is still very pretty.  

This little fellow is picturesque with his bright yellow waist coat and his black mask. 

Children having fun playing in the sand building sand castles at the beach. 

I have a beautiful Bird of Paradise plant growing outside my studio windows. 

A couple walk along the sunny beach towards the driftwood not aware a storm is in the distance. 

The Boca Grande lighthouse looks out to the Gulf of Mexico. The visitors to the lighthouse on a sunny Florida day also lookout from the porch.  

Two people enjoy the sunshine while exploring around the Sanibel Island lighthouse.  

The "Pink Lady", a Roseate Spoonbill perched on a weathered section of mangrove. Is it looking for dinner or admiring its reflection in the Florida waters'  

This little girl has found a beautiful shell. Little discoveries make fun at the beach so special. 

This watercolor tells a story. The three Ibis search in the waters among the mangroves for their next meal. A curious turtle is watching the action. 

These Roseate Spoonbills have found a beautiful evening to rest among the Florida Mangroves. 

I saw these interesting shadows of the vase of roses cast upon the wall . 

Another beautiful sunset along the Florida coast and with the Boca Grande Light House to complete a perfect setting. Look for the two people strolling in the distance..
