This is another of my rare color pieces. Drawing this was a kind of meditatio, integrating disparate parts of myself.

I don't do much work with color or paint, but here's one of the rare examples. I'm not nearly as good with a brush as I am with a pen, but I feel OK about this one.

This is just a writhing knot of Lovecraft-inspired creatures and old gods. 

This drawing is not based on any specific creature from the writings of H. P. Lovecraft, but instead on the general feel of his types of creature. 

This drawing is slightly cheesy, but I still like it. The diver picking up the idol of some fishy creature, with strange markings on the pedestal, and thinking "What's this'" as the real-life counterpart sneaks up behind him... good fun.

I drew this portrait from a small photo on the case of an audio cassette ("Ernest Hemingway Reads"). If I'd had a larger photo, I probably could have done a little better. I may have been able to get hold of a better photo eventually, but I did this ...
